- health (only possible data with regard to orders of contact lenses)
For what purpose and on the basis of which basis do we process personal data?
BOS bv processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To deliver goods and services to you (main goal)
- To handle your payment
- Sending you our newsletter and/or advertising folder
- To be able to call you or send you an e-mail if this is necessary for us to be able to carry out our services
- Inform you about changes to our services and products
- Offer you the possibility to create an account
- BOS bv also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our bookkeeping.
Automated decision-making
BOS bv does not make any decisions about matters which could have (considerable) consequences for persons, based on automated processing.
How long we keep personal data
BOS bv does not keep your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data are collected. We use the following retention periods for the following personal data: 10 years to comply with legal obligations.
Sharing of personal data with third parties
BOS bv does not sell your data to third parties and provides them only if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to satisfy a legal obligation. BOS bv remains responsible for these processing operations.

Viewing, adjusting or deleting data
You have the right to inspect, correct or remove your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by BOS bv and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send the personal data we have on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you. You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data modification or request to withdraw your permission or objection to the processing of your personal data via our contact page. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please make sure to mark your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and National registry number black. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. BOS bv would also like to point out that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Data Protection Authority. How we protect personal data
BOS bv takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes.
